Interesting To Know
• The rhinoceros iguana is noticeable thanks to the large scales on its head, which resembles a rhinoceros horn, and from which it gets its name.
• These iguanas live in warm areas on the Caribbean Island of Hispaniola, at a minimum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius. They depend on the sun’s rays to function.
• Predators of this iguana include humas, dogs, pigs, and mongooses.
