New exhibition at Noah's Ark Visitor Center
Abraham Fainsod, a Professor of Genetics at the Hebrew University and zoo volunteer, shows in his photo exhibition called "Moments - Animal portraits in special situations".
The Jerusalem Zoo hosted this year's
Israel Zoo Association conference on 21/2/08. Over 400 people from zoos and nature associations in the country participated in a day of sessions and panels ending with a gala dinner party. We thank all participants and hope for many collaborations in the future.
The Jerusalem zoo goes everywhere
in times of need. Last Friday, the Zoomobile made its way once more to the attacked city of Sderot. The activity, supported by the Friends of the Zoo Association, helped liven up the hearts of the city's children before Shabbat.
