 The Jerusalem Zoo hosted this year's
Israel Zoo Association conference on 21/2/08. Over 400 people from zoos and nature associations in the country participated in a day of sessions and panels ending with a gala dinner party. We thank all participants and hope for many collaborations in the future.

01.02.2008  The animals in Jerusalem woke up to a white morning
as snow surrounded all, and for those who did not stay in their heated enclosures, the animals enjoyed a break in the routine as did the city.

 The Jerusalem zoo goes everywhere
in times of need. Last Friday, the Zoomobile made its way once more to the attacked city of Sderot. The activity, supported by the Friends of the Zoo Association, helped liven up the hearts of the city's children before Shabbat.

 The Persian fallow deer reintroduction program continues
as six deer were recently released into the Soreq Nature Reserve.
