Independence day at the zoo
Celebrate Israel Independence day at The Jerusalem Biblical Zoo! The Zoo offers fun activities for the whole family:
Guided animal feedings:
11:30AM at the chimpanzee exhibit 11:45AM at the penguin exhibit
12:30PM elephant training
1:00PM at the Australian Yard
3:00PM at the South American Yard
4:00PM at Lemur Land
5:00PM at the red panda exhibit
Feeding of the lories changes daily. More details at the lory aviary. Meet the Guide
11:45AM at the Birds of Prey aviary
1:30PM at Wet Side Story
2:15PM at the tiger exhibit
4:00PM at the cheetah exhibit
There's Only One Mom
A stand with information about cubs, chicks, and other little ones
will be operating between the hours of 11:00AM-1:00PM and 2:30-5:00PM
near the small animals building.
At the children's zoo
The petting zoo with goats and lambs will be open to the public.
Interactive activities with friendly animals in the "living house" will take place at:
11:00AM, 12:00PM, 1:00PM, 2:00PM, 3:00PM, 4:00PM, and 5:00PM
The use of fire is strictly prohibited in all areas of the zoo.
All events are dependent on weather conditions.
