Volunteering

Do you love animals? Do you care about nature and the environment? Would you like to do something meaningful and rewarding? Why not come and join our circle of zoo volunteers! More than 50 animal lovers volunteer at the zoo on a weekly basis in a veriety of departments. They help the keepers in their daily routine, the zoo clinic, photography, and more.

Zoo volunteers are invited to join in many zoo activities such as volunteer courses, zoo outings and staff events.

A special volunteer night was organized at the Jerusalem Biblical Zoo to thank our wonderful volunteers for their help during the year. It was also a good opportunity for volunteers to get together and share experiences. The atmosphere was welcoming and the food was great! Picture gallery.
