Zoo train
Operating Sunday through Friday, the zoo train route is circular, giving a general overview of the zoo grounds. The train engineer provides explanations along the way, usually in Hebrew. The zoo train is intended, among other things, to give a general overview of the zoo, to provide amusement for children, and to assist people who have difficulty walking. For your own enjoyment, we strongly recommend that you walk through the zoo on foot. The animals should be seen from close up, so that you can view them properly, and see them eat, rest, and play in their roomy enclosures. Starting Point: At the far end of the bridge, on the lower level
