Moments - Animal portraits in special situations
From a young age,Abraham Fainsod showed a keen interest in animals and photography. Abraham made “aliyah” in 1976, and recieved his Ph.D. in Genetics specializing in Developmental Biology. At present,  Abraham is a Professor of Genetics and Biochemistry at the Hebrew University. About 10 years ago he joined the volunteers at the zoo. In 2003 Abraham bought his first digital camera and got back into photography but this time including the digital format. Although many of the pictures shown are from zoological gardens, some were taken in the wild around the world, all of them showing his sharp insight to catch special moments in the lives of animals and a love of nature.
