Nature and landscapes in California - A personal perspective
(March-June 2007)
I am a freelance photographer with a passion for travel, nature and photography. I graduated from the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California in 1988 with a B.A. in photography, majoring in color and commercial photography. For me, photography is a way to fully express what I feel and to convey my impressions of the world around me. The photographs in this exhibition are not your typical images of national parks and well known tourist attractions, but more of my own personal perspective on landscapes and nature that captivated and inspired me. The Elephant seals always fill my heart with owe towards these majestic animals and getting up close and personal with snakes and bugs is pure fun. Watching the sky and water change colors or a glimpse of a flower are reasons for photographic study and personal interpretation.
