Tastes, smells and experiences from an authentic life style.
Yaara (forest) Tamari was born in 1977 in Jerusalem. she is a graphic designer by profession but from a young age had always enjoyed photography, especially nature and wild life. In this exhibition you will see the reality as reflected from my point of view. A moment captured in one frame will reflect the authenticity, the truth and simplicity of life. Whether it’s an old man with a rich life experience, a little girl or even a chimpanzee, each one has their own truth and unique journey in life. In 2009 She went on a journey to Laos and Thailand was privileged to be hosted by local families, enhancing her experience to a very powerful one. She discovered a joyful authentic culture which cherishes and respects nature. The blessing of nature (The 'Kompong' people, North Thailand): May the plants keep flourishing and the water keep flowing. May the earth be fruitful and grant us prosperity, health and success.
May we cherish and respect nature that gives us life. Here in Israel, the Jerusalem Biblical Zoo, maintains those same values of cherishing nature. She hopes that the authentic taste in this exhibition will inspire its viewers to see the simple joy of life.
