The Biblical stories serve as an inspiration for many artists and Its expressive transcript is dramatic, inspiring the imagination. Illustrators were invited to exhibit work dealing with animals mentioned in Biblical stories. Each illustrator brings with a world of associations, a unique style and personal viewpoint. The story of Noah's ark is an inspiration for activity at the Jerusalem Zoo. Just as Noah saved the animals from an ecological disaster in his time, The Zoo serves as a modern Noah's ark, dealing with conservation of endangered animals.The Israel Association of Illustrators is a nonprofit organization and invites other illustrators to join and to take part in its various events.
